Not so long ago I travelled across the stunning northern and southern landscapes of Argentina and Chile. Finally I went on an adventure to Patagonia, a place I dreamt of visiting for years. I spent days hiking through all weather conditions and landscapes, carrying my home, food and equipment everywhere I went, camping out in the open exposed to the elements under the stars, and nestled inside deep forests.
Part of this journey brought me to Torres Del Paine, part of Chile's Patagonia, a place I will never forget. 💫

This is my digital painting of part of the mountainscape I was looking at at the end of the first day, just after I had pitched my tent, had a quick shower and had dinner on my portable gas stove. I imagined it to be a dangerous mountain to climb, the silhouette of the mountain was sharp and jagged, and there was no sign of life from my point-of-view.
I added some details to the painting which wasn't in the original scene I was standing looking at.
