This is another one of my paintings of a place I trekked around in Patagonia, this time in Argentina’s El Chaltén.

I saw this waterfall, which was connected to a glacier at the top, just after hiking up to the mountain peaks in this area, back down, and through a forest. This was towards the end of the day, and not long after I went back to my tent, grabbed my paints, and completed a study f the same glacier, but from much further away.

I painted this in watercolour & gouache, on Aquarelle Watercolour pad, 5.9” x 8.3” (heavyweight)
