This is my second plein air painting of the coast in Brighton, England. This time I walked up to the shore and decided to have a go at painting the waves.

There was a big dark cloud to my right which did eventually move in my direction. It did rain but not enough to stop the painting. So I got this finished on location and I was happy with the result.

Because of the weather, I had this entire section of the beach to myself.

I painted this on canvas panel 5” X 7’.
