I am very grateful to have had the opportunity to go on a 4 day Jeep trip across the Uyuni Salt Flats in Bolivia, and even more so that I was able to make a quick plein air study at the main attraction on day 4. Probably the biggest natural ‘Mirror’ in the world.

This is my sketch of Salar De Uyuni, amid the Andes in south west Bolivia. It is the worlds largest salt flat lake. The salt content is very high, and you can walk for miles barefooted. A stunning place to visit.
